1. Five Corners Line Painting Tonight The contractor is scheduled to install permanent traffic markings (lines and arrows) on Wednesday August 1st beginning at 7:00 PM. This work is weather dependent. Following the installation of the permanent markings the traffic signals will be fully activated by the signal subcontractor. Once markings and signals have been completely installed and activated the intersection will be able to function at full design capacity. Lions Thrift Store Looking for Those Spring Cleaning Donations

The grange is open for business again this weekend.

Submitted to Easton Patch: Being open Wednesdays from 10 to 2 PM and on Saturdays from 9 AM to 3 PM, we are an all Lions and Grange volunteer organization at the old Grange hall on Route 138 (192 Washington Street, North Easton) - and we beat Building 19's prices every day we are open. Donations keep pouring in and the foot traffic has never been better. Best time to come is between 9 and 11 AM on Saturdays - the bigger crowds come in after 11 it seems. Several people looking at the Chrysler Convertible, but no buyer yet. That's right. Tom O'Brien, a special friend of the Easton Lions Club, has donated his 1989 Chrysler LeBaron convertible. Williams Named New Leader at the Grange

Avery Lee Williams will become the new leader at Grange Hall.

  Submitted to Easton Patch: Avery Lee Williams has come in as the new local Grange Master (President). With a background that includes many leadership roles over the years, Williams takes on his first try with a Fraternal organization and seeks to establish an atmosphere in which “exciting things can happen”. For the last three years the old Grange Hall at 196 Washington Street in North Easton has been the site of the Easton Lions Club’s Thrift Store which has turned into an unquestioned success. The National Grange movement, which was originally started around Civil War time, was directed towards farm families for their social and legislative needs. Local Artist Donates to Thrift Shop

Kelly Estey, an Easton resident and student at Dean College hand-painted a hamper for the Easton Lions Grange Thrift Shop.
