Vandalism Reported at South Street Early Monday

A look at what is happening with the Easton Police Department.

The following information was supplied by the Easton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. A South Street resident reported vandalism to his home early Monday morning. The resident called Easton Police to report a rock through his front window Monday at approximately 12:15 a.m. He said it did not appear that his residence was broken into. Police responded to report the windows on either side of the duplex had been smashed. Shoplifting Reported at Target Target reported a shoplifter Sunday afternoon. Police received a call at approximately 4:50 p.m. regarding an alleged shoplifter. The caller from Target said a male in the store was stealing over $1,000 worth of merchandise in the past…

Break-in Reported on Bay Road

A reported breaking and entering incident leads today's Police Log.

The following information was supplied by the Easton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. A Bay Road resident came home Thursday at approximately 4:45 to find that his house had been broken into, he reported to Easton Police. Easton detectives were notified of the incident and are investigating. Erratic Driver Near Stonehill Campus Easton Police reported a vehicle drove over a curb exiting Papa Gino's plaza at 1:52 a.m. Saturday and went through the light at Washington Street and Central Street with no headlights on. The vehicle was slow to pull over and was given a verbal warning. A short time later, Stonehill Police was investigating the same vehicle. Stonehill PD proceeded with …

Accident on Elm Street Sends Three to Hospital

An accident last week at the corner of Elm Street and North Main sent two to the hospital.

The following information was supplied by the Easton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. Three people were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Wednesday afternoon after a two-car accident on the corner of Elm Street and North Main Street. Easton responders first received a call at 4:12 p.m. regarding the accident. Upon arrival, responders reported injuries and a two-car crash. Three were taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center by the Easton Fire Department. Two Transported to Hospital After Multi-Car Accident Sunday

The incident required the help of Mansfield and Norton Fire Departments.

The following information was supplied by the Easton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. Two people were transported to the hospital Sunday morning after a motor vehicle accident at the corner of Eastman and Foundry Street near Hannaford Supermarket. Easton emergency officials first received a call at approximately 6:52 a.m. regarding a two-car accident. One person needed to be extricated from a motor vehicle. A Mansfield ambulance transported one party to Rhode Island Hospital and a Norton ambulance transported the other party to Good Samaritan. Both parties were the operators of their vehicle. Accident Reported at Union-Washington Intersection Last Week

Emergency Officials responded to an accident at the intersection last week.

One person was injured after an accident at the corner of Washington Street and Union Street Monday, Nov. 26. An involved motorist reported a two-car accident at the intersection and was complaining of neck pain. Easton EMT units responded to the scene. Breaking and Entering Reported in Dela Park Lane Tuesday, Nov. 27 at approximately 10:45 a.m., a business employee reported a past breaking and entering incident and vandalism at a vacant condo unit. The incident occurred sometime between Wednesday, Nov. 21 and Monday, Nov. 26. Two Car Accident Near Foundry-Turnpike Intersection

A deer was involved in a 2-car accident early Saturday morning.

One person suffered minor injuries early Saturday morning after a 2-car accident that involved a deer. The accident occurred at the corner of Turnpike Street and Village Street at approximately 3:30 a.m. Both vehicles struck the deer, which was killed on the scene. No hospital transport was reported. Easton Man Arrested After Sunday Accident An Easton man was arrested after an 2-car accident Sunday afternoon on Foundry Street. Joseph M. Motorist Crashes Into Woods at Prospect and Foundry Intersection

Easton Police responded to a call from a motorist early Saturday morning who said he was in an accident. The motorist said he was not injured, but shook up. Police arrived on the scene at the corner of Foundry and Prospect at approximately 4:14 a.m. to find a vehicle that had driven into the woods. Police confirmed no injuries. Multiple Motor Vehicle Accidents Reported in Easton Last Week

Accident at Five Corners Easton emergency officials responded to the intersection of Bay Road and Foundry Street Monday, Sept. 3 at 6:45 p.m. for a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and one vehicle moved to the parking lot of Five Corners Petroleum and the other vehicle was towed. Accident on Route 24 Easton Police were out with an accident on Route 24 North near Harrison Boulevard at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4. Officers waited for State Police to arrive on the scene. No injuries were reported. Breaking and Entering Reported on Foundry Street

Easton Police responded to a call on Tuesday, July 24 at approximately 11:15 a.m. regarding a breaking and entering incident on Foundry Street in the vicinity of Prospect Street. The B&E occurred between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Police took a report and the matter is under investigation. 911 Hang-up Call at Richardson School Easton Police received a call from the HH Richardson School elevator at approximately 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, July 24. Police faintly heard no emergency and the phone was hung up. Police called back and spoke with a party who confirmed the call was accidental. Stray Steer Reported in Easton

A 1500 pound steer leads off the Easton Police and Fire Log.

  Police received a call Sunday night at approximately 7:30 p.m. reporting a 1500 pound steer in the caller's yard on Bay Road. While an officer was attempting to locate the steer with the owner, an additional call reported seeing a calf at Blue View Farm in Norton. The Norton Police Department and Fairland Cranberry Farm Security were notified. Girl Lies in Middle of Road on Chestnut Street At approximately 2:30 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a girl laying in the middle of the road on Chestnut Street. The caller said when they stopped and spoke with her, she "became irate" and walked away. Upon arrival, units reported a daughter was having problems with her mother and everything is fine.
