Alleged Frothingham Park Assault, Robbery Leads to Arrest of Two Teens Two teens were arrested by Easton Police Monday after allegedly robbing and assaulting another teen. Michael Bunce-Grenon, 19, of 19 Dennison Court in Stoughton was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and robbery. A 15-year-old Easton resident was arrested on the same charges. Police Chief Allen Krajcik said the incident occurred at approximately 4 p.m. near Frothingham Park. Two Easton Teens Arrested For Breaking and Entering on Washington Street Easton Police arrested two teens Monday morning for allegedly breaking into a vacant strip plaza at 750 Washington Street. George Holyoke-Spencer, 17, of 24 Center Street and a 15-year-old juvenile from Easton were charged with breaking and entering a building during the daytime, malicious damage to property and larceny, according to Easton Police Chief Allen Krajcik. Krajcik said police first received a call at approximately 8:45 a.m. from a resident who reported seeing two suspicious males at the strip mall. The witness said he saw the males smash a window with a bat and gain entrance. The call resulted in the arrival of cruisers to make the arrest. Police Arrest …

Center School Principal Announces Retirement Center School Principal Debbie Dicenso will retire after this year. The announcement came at a school committee meeting last week in which Committee Chair Jane Martin read a letter from Dicenso to the rest of the committee. "Working with such a caring, honest, invested staff has truly been a gift," Dicenso wrote in her letter. Dicenso has been the principal of Center School for the past nine years. Prior to that, she spent 27 years as a teacher in the Stoughton school system. Easton Resident Named as Division Chief in Attorney General’s Office An Easton lawyer recently became a top ranking official in Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley's office. George Zachos was recently named as one of Coakley's new Division Chiefs, according to a statement released Tuesday. Zachos, who is a graduate of Boston College and Oklahoma College of Law was named as the Medicaid Fraud Division Chief, according to the statement. The Easton lawyer had previously served as a managing attorney of the AG’s Medicaid Fraud Division since 2007. He also has more than 17 years of litigation experience. Oliver Ames Senior Passes Away Suddenly The Oliver Ames High School community is mourning the death of a student. Devin Ness, a senior at the high school, tragically died Friday morning. Ness, who was a captain for the Oliver Ames wrestling team, suddenly became sick last night, according to OA athletic director Bill Matthews. He was taken to the hospital where he passed away. "He did die of an aneurysm," Oliver Ames Principal Wes Paul said. "He was dog sitting for his cousins in West Bridgewater. He didn’t feel well and next thing you know he wasn’t doing well at all and they called an ambulance . He went to the hospital. Joe Kennedy III Tours Southeastern Regional Fourth District Congressman Joe Kennedy III (D-Brookline) visited Southeastern Regional Vocational High School in Easton Friday morning to tour the facility and meet students and faculty. Kennedy, who said vocational education should be "a focal point of a lot of our education efforts moving forward" wanted to see how the school operated. "He called out of the blue," Southeastern Superintendent Luis Lopes said. "He was very interested in vocational education." The school is currently in the midst of a $32.9 million renovation, thanks to funds from the Massachusetts School Building Authority. TD Bank Robbed for the Third Time in Three Months TD Bank at Roche Brother's Plaza was robbed Thursday for the third time in three months. Police Chief Allen Krajcik said police responded to a 911 call at approximately 5:30 Thursday night reporting a bank robbery. Stoughton Lending Hand to Victims of Hurricane Sandy The Stoughton Police ran a donation drive from Monday, Nov. 5 to Saturday, Nov. 10 for victims of Hurricane Sandy. Stoughton Police Thwart Robbery at Webster Bank Stoughton Police, working with the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force, foiled an alleged robbery at Webster Bank in Stoughton Friday morning, Stoughton Police Executive Officer Robert Devine said. Lucas Gravina, 29, of Hull, entered the Webster Bank at 700 Washington St. (on the corner of Washington and Monk Streets) at 10:22 a.m. on Nov. 2 and robbed the bank of an undisclosed amount of money, Devine said. Gravina, a suspect in a series of bank robberies in the local area, was being surveilled by Stoughton Police Detectives and the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force as he was heading into the bank, and when he walked out, Stoughton Police greeted him and placed Gravina under arrest in the bank parking lot…
