Richard I. Jennings, 68, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Easton, died Sunday at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Wendy M. (Bodio) Jennings for 26 years. Born in Brockton on April 20, 1944, a son of the late Richard C. and Ida V. (Banks) Jennings, he was raised in Brockton and Easton and was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the US Army as an E-3 and was the recipient of the Air Medal. Richard was a self-employed welder and truck driver and was the proprietor of DJ Trucking of Easton. An avid cook, his hobbies included woodworking, boating, and fishing.
