Woman Allegedly Sexually Assaulted at Knifepoint in Attleboro Local and state police are looking for a man they say kidnapped a woman at knifepoint and sexually assaulted her Tuesday afternoon in an Attleboro parking lot on Starkey Avenue. Those participating in the search, unsuccesful as of 6 p.m., included Norton and Attleboro police officers as well as state police K-9 units and a state police helicopter. Tigers dominate the Davenport Division Champions on their way to a 35-7 win.

The Oliver Ames football team endured a little bit of everything this season: Last second victories; overtime losses; big wins and big losses. Against the Davenport Division Champion Sharon Eagles Thanksgiving Day, the Tigers decided to end things on a high note: A convincing 35-7 victory. "It’s the kind of day we want," Oliver Ames coach Jim Artz said. "Our theme is family and we’re in it through thick and thin and the season was a whole roller coaster of good and bad. .. Borderland was taken over by the Hockomock League Cross Country Championships Saturday.

The 2012 George King Hockomock Cross Country Championships were held at Borderland State Park in Easton Saturday morning. The Oliver Ames boys team placed second and the Oliver Ames girls team placed second. Mansfield took top honors for the boys and Franklin took top honors for the girls. Stoughton Man Turns to Attempted Murder After Argument Turns Violent A 42-year-old Stoughton man is charged with attempted murder after an argument turned violent early Sunday morning, according to Stoughton Police. Police were called to 16 Bell St. in Stoughton at 12:54 a.m. on Oct. 21 after "several calls [reported] a fight and people yelling/screaming," according to the Stoughton Police log. In addition to attempted murder, Michael Safranek, 42, of 29 Bell St. in Stoughton, is charged with two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon; and single counts of possession of a firearm while intoxicated and possession of more than one ounce of marijuana, according to the log. Oliver Ames Cross Country squared off against Sharon at Boarderland State Park. Both the boys and girls won their meets to remain undefeated and capture the Davenport Division of the Hockomock League for the third year in a row. The boys won, 26-31 and the girls won 20-43. Below are full results:

Sharon traveled to Muscato Stadium Thursday.

The Oliver Ames girls' soccer team tied Sharon Thursday afternoon at Muscato Stadium, 1-1. Pam Grant scored with an assist to Allison Brennan in the 1st half for OA. Samantha Alves tied the game in 2nd half for Sharon. Playing strong defensivily for OA were Kelsey Bliss and Lexi Soucie. The Tigers are now 6-1-1.

  Stoughton Police Looking for Suspect in Citizens Bank Robbery Stoughton Police are looking for the suspect involved in the Wednesday evening robbery of Citizens Bank in the Stop and Shop at 278 Washington St. The suspect is described as a white female, 5'4", and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark glasses and a dark colored Red Sox baseball cap, Lt. Fran Wohlgemuth of the Stoughton Police Department said. The robbery took place at 6:28 p.m. on September 6. The unarmed suspect passed a note to the teller, Wohlgemuth said.
