Easton's Annual Veteran's Day Parade Was Held Monday
The Town of Easton held it's annual Veteran's Day Parade Monday. Veterans, first responders, local officials, boy scouts and girl scouts, the Oliver Ames Marching Band, the Canton Legion Band, and many other groups marched in the parade, which marched from Washington Street, down Main Street to Veterans Memorial Park. Monday's parade emphasized the Vietnam War, as 2012 is the 50th anniversary of the War.

1. Town Offices Closed Today The Town of Easton offices will be closed today in recognition of Veteran's Day. 2. Easton Veteran's Day Parade Main Street will be closed Monday at 11 a.m. for the town of Easton's Annual Veteran's Day Parade. American Legion Post 7 Commander Joseph Moran reminded residents that they are invited to attend the parade. It will begin at Washington Square on the corner of Washington Street and proceed down Main Street. The parade will end with a ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park at the corner of Sullivan Ave, Mechanic Street and Pond Street.
